Cracked settling driveway

House built in early 70s. Last few years, I'm seeing some increased cracking of the concrete driveway. Also, end of one slab has sunk approx 3" below the adjacent slab over the last 5 years.

Is it possible that decaying matter under the driveway is just now beginning to cause this? What's most expensive part of replacing concrete slabs? What would be the average cost (Atlanta suburbs) of replacing a 10X20 slab? Thanks.

New slab can run 3.50sqft to 4.50sqft, on 4" deep, around here. Hammer and clean up gets expensive but if you find a few maggots to carry the weight then rent the hammer you can save a bundle.
