cracked foundation on a new built house

wilddngy Newbie   Join Date: Apr 2005 Posts: 13	cracked foundation on a new built house My house was built few months ago, I just found few cracks on the foundation along kitchen, bathroom and living room. My questions are should I be worry about it?, should I leave it alone?, should I have the foundation guy to fix it ( I don't know it will do me any good. Some one told me it can't be fixed.) May be I should tell the inspector to see what's his opinion? Your help will be appreciated. MI

Teetorbilt Contractor   Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Jensen Beach, FL Posts: 835	cracked foundation on a new built house Call the inspector out. Properly poured slabs usually take years to settle. I'm in FL and most homes are slab construction and built on sand.
