Concrete slab stress lines

I'm going to be pouring an 8'x17'x3.5" slab. I would like to know where I need to put the stress lines in the slab? I suspect they are called something else, but I'm not too familiar with the terminology.
Thanks,

If it is a rectangular slab as described, right in the middle @ 8'6" will be sufficient.
