How do I move my concrete porch back so that it meets the house? We have a stately colonial. There are tree roots from a Maple tree growing through the bricks on the side of the porch. There is no sign of water leakage or plumbing problems to date. Although the dishwasher does back up often.
If you have clearance to get under it you might be able to jack it up and back in place. Rush it and you will have not only a separated but cracked mess.
The scope of this project will soon take it from the realm of diy I fear. You are going to need someone who knows how to flex concrete and specifically how much it can take.
And, you should be getting some estimates as to whether you should try and fix this or just start over.
