Concrete Floor Help

The home I grew up in had an area for a basement but was never poured with a concrete floor. Now 40 years later I am helping my Dad upgrade the home place. I want to have his basement poured but here is my delimma. The house has 6 footings poured down the center of the home with the lalley column supports. These are at ground level. I need to dig out a few inches of dirt across the whole area to level the area and gain some height. When I pour the concrete it will be 4-6 inches above the current footings. I cant take the supports out and pour the concrete and then put the supports back so how do I tackle this ?
Thanks in advance

If the verticals support members are heavy Steel,.... Pour around them,+ cast them in place...
