composite decking material for steps

i need some new steps coming off my back screened in porch. can those be built out of composite material like you would use for decks. i want something that won't splinter or rot....it isn't fun to get splinters from the handrail and i want something that is maintenance free.

yes, absolutely.
just make sure you have enough stringers to support the stuff. i believe it's usually 3/4" thick. means you'll need at least three stringers depending on how wide your stairs are.

also use an appropriate screw.
