Question

coarse bluestone or finer orange gravel from HD

i am paving some concrete walkwalk as well as a slab for a shed. a local construction supply yard sells bluestone gravel which is very coarse but pretty cheap ($19 per scoop, i think approx. slightly less that a pickup truck load). was wondering if i can use that or regular home depot bagged gravel, which is orange-ish and finer ?

thanks
