chimney question

Does anyone in here have any knowledge of fireplace venting? If so, here is my question:
I have a direct vent gas fireplace and I want to replace my rain cap. The current rain cap sits on top of the existing clay flue liner. I see rain caps that you can buy but I don't see them with a bottom flashing that can wrap around the clay liner. Is this something that has to be fabricated or can you buy them with the rain cap?
