Chicken Coop Shed...How many Piers?

I am about to build a chicken coop. I'm thinking either 8x16 or 8x20. It will be pier and beam since i am no where near level ground.

How many piers for these size buildings? Best placement?

thanks

Chicken Coop Shed...How many Piers?

i got 27. probably end up with more. its usually about 4 sq ft per bird. plus they are all heavy breads (large) and i would like a little extra space for food storage and maybe even a little place for garden tools. im sure what ever i end up with it will be over kill.

the only bad thing is i live in texas and the heat is, well, hot. so i have to figure out how to keep it cool. it will be shaded by trees so that may help.

im sure i could put up only about 2-3 walls with dirt floor....but

i live in the middle of nowhere....with nothing but many acres and coyotes, bobcats, and mountain lions between me and the nearest neighbor. ive been lucky so far not to lose one.
