Chicken Coop Interior

I have a large shed, 2x4 framed, raised floor w/power/water.
Please give me ideas for nest boxes/roosts for 6-8 layers. I see lots of ads for "free" plans but I can't seem to find the real plans without $$.

Hens don't need approved 'plans' to lay eggs. They just want a private, preferably dark enclosed area to take care of business. I built 13x13 boxes with a fabric flap on one side. But they'll use just about anything - up-turned tubs with a door cut out. Crates.

Remember they are looking for a spot where their eggs and 'chicks' will be hidden and safe.

Btw- I built 2 boxes for my 5 hens. They only use one. They take turns from early morning to mid-afternoon

I actually took a corner shelf unit and cut it in half and screwed it into the corner.. there are three shelves and it is up off of the ground.. put a handful of straw and instant nest.
