Question

Changing from shrubs to parking pad

Hello all,

I am glad to be on here and hopefully I can contribute to the forums at some point in time...

Here's my challenge/dilemma: We have an landscape area that has some plants, bushes/shrubs that I want to convert into a parking area for our newly acquired 1977 Wilderness 21-foot camper...The ground is very solid there and is braced on the interior part of the yard by squared 6x6 PT boards (timbers might be a better word--they are heavy!)...The area is approximately 12' wide by 10' long...The ground is very solid...I need to extend the length of this area another 12' in order to keep the camper off of the sidewalk...I would like to just add on to the end of the 6x6 timbers. Is there a recommended fill (dirt only or dirt and "junk" mixed) that should be used? I would then cover the parking area with 2b stone or something along those lines...Thanks for your help in advance! Doug
