Cement repair & marbeleizing copumns

How to smooth out old cement floors to prepare to paint? I live in Panama with less resources than back home. No cement grinder available in this country. ,
How to marbeleize columns?

Do they have epoxy floor products where you are? You could either trowel it on or find someone with the equipment to spray on a layer. You could even do this in manner so you would even out the floor and give it whatever color and/or texture you wanted at the same time. You would have to vacate the house for a day or so or at least have fans going.

Not sure what you mean by marbelizing columns? What are the columns made of? Do you mean you want to faux finish them with paint to look like marble?

Yeah - leveler. . . I'd do a thin layer all over the floor - requires a bucket, drill and mixing paddle - maybe a scraper so you can smooth it out.
