cement for pool drain leak

I have an inground concrete pool that had a leaking hydrostatic valve inside the main drain hole at the bottom. I drained the pool and chisseled out the old brass valve. The replacement valves are now 1.5" PVC type.
My question is what type of cement do I use to hold it in place. Regular concrete,Waterproofing cement, cement with epoxy added? I know most anytthing will work initially, but if it sits in water for years, I dont want it to leak after a while.
Thanks

Check with the local pool companies to see what they use.

Thanks- But that is why I asked here! The local pool companies don't like to give out information and some will even give wrong advice sometimes, as they want to do the job.

Have you tried to ask the private contractors that do the job. Pool companies around our town will let you know the proper stuff to use for maintenance, and not keep it a hidden secret. Stating that they will not help either means you are asking the wrong company, or the approach is wrong. There is a pool forum http://www.troublefreepool.com/index.html that will help better, since the people that use that forum do a lot of their own maintenance.
