caulk to seal around dryer exaust

What is a good caulk to seal around a metal dryer exaust duct that goes through the wall outside? I'd assume it'd have to be able to take temps higher then normal caulk?

By the time the heated air get to the wall outlet, it is usually cool enough to allow mosts types of caulk. But if your run is a short one, it may still be warm(not hot). There are fire rated caulks available at big box. I have used siliconized latex for years without problems.

The run is about a whole foot and a half (wall width plus a tiny bit more) I just wanted to be sure! better safe then fire..
