hi , going to start fixing my asphalt driveway.
got a few bad spots where asphalt is completely gone . down to sand.
and lots of cracks.
i was wondering if it was possible to mix cement with asphalt sealer , then pour that over pot holes , smooth off . then later completely seal driveway ????
I doubt it would be successful. Cement functions by hydrating, that is, absorbing water. That initiates a chemical reaction that results in the cement becoming hard. If you mixed it with asphalt sealer, you would pretty much prevent any moisture from getting to the cement and as such, prevent it from hydrating.
