Building stair treads from 5/4 x 4" Oak T & G

I have a set of stairs that was carpeted but want to install Oak 5/4 x 4" flooring as treads and 1/4" oak plywood for risers and finish boards for the walls. My question is: I want to use 3 of the T & G Oak boards to make the steps. I plan to blind nail the rear 2 boards using glue also and angle drill from underneath the front board along with glue. Will this last as it will be a considerable amount of work and what type of glue would you recommend?

Is this going over the existing treads?? If yes, not a good idea. It throws off the top and bottom step spacing and could be a tripping/falling hazard. And removing treads from an existing staircase is usually not a simple job.

It will be over plywood construction. the top floor has 5/4 oak and the stairs should be at 7" when finished
