Building Shed roof over deck

Hey im planning on building a shed roof over my deck... It is 10wx12l... 12-2 pitch... i tried to do a picture on paint... might help... But im trying to use the least amount of post... for a 10 foot span about 12 feet off the ground 2x6 rafters and header... can i get away with 2 4x4 or do i need to go up to 6bys?
live in the phildelphia area...

Don't feel bad, I can't draw either.... A picture would sure help.

Be safe, Gary

Your plan will build an under structured roof. You would need at least 2x8 ceiling rafters and 3 posts along the front to support the roof and the expected snow load. I would use 6x6's.
I would run this plan through the building dept so a voice of reason is included in the process.
