Building a Ramada in the backyard

Looking to build something 12x12 with sloped roof, lightweight concrete tile. Is this something weekend warriors should attempt or is this somthing for a pro? I was thinking I could save a lot if I get plans, and at least framed it and then have pros run gas and electric, and stucco or stone on the (4) posts?

Must not be from the US, here it's called a pavilion.

No one here knows what your skill level is or what tools you have.

Building a Ramada in the backyard

I live in SoCa and it called a Ramada, Closed roof. Not trying to start an argument just wanted to ask a question. I am pretty mechanically inclined but perhaps this is the wrong place to ask, sorry.

No! You are in the correct place to ask. Many of us are unfamiliar what a ramada is. I had to google it to see what you need. You may need permits and have it built using a contractor. Make a trip to the local building inspector/zoning officer to find out what the procedures are before you try and tackle the job. Locally, anything more that 99 sq.ft. need engineer stamped plans.
