Building a keyboard drawer

I am going to attempt building my parents a new pull-out keyboard drawer to replace the junky one on their desk. It should be easy enough, i am wondering how to cut a piece of oak 1x lumber to use as a wrist rest. Is it a simple angle cut with a table saw? A friend of mine has one and said he'd help, but I just want to know if it's the right tool for the job.

Here is a rough (not to-scale) drawing of the cut I am trying to make. I'll just round the edges off with a sanding sponge, nothing too fancy. Thanks.
