Building fences

Hi all. I'm inquiring about building fences for $$. I have a day job which keeps me busy 12 hours a day, 3 days a week. So I'm thinking of starting a small fence building business on the side. I know about fences, I do not know about business. So my question here is: What kind of certifications (if any) would I need? What kind of insurance (if any) would I need to obtain? Any advice is welcome and appreciated.

It varies by State but this is a good place to start. http://www.contractors-license.org/

EDIT: Old thread I see...oh well.

Not sure of any special certifications for fence building but I am sure that someone has some sort of service that they will happily bill you for.

5.56 is the better round...FYI.
