Building on existing concrete slab

JimSpokane Newbie   Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 2	Building on existing concrete slab We have a concrete slab we originally intended to use for a dog kennel. However, we have now decided to use it as the foundation for a shed. How do I go about attaching the walls to the foundation?

Termite Moderator     Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 6,520	Building on existing concrete slab Provided it is small enough that your city doesn't require frost footings, the walls can be attached using various types of wedge anchors. If code isn't applicable you could use something less substantial such as tapcon screws.
