Brick vineer?

I was at lowes the other day and noticed they had a type of brick vineer it looks like its actual brick but half as thick, there are no grout lines and every 4th row of it screws onto the house it has an overlapping latch like system... anyone ever see this stuff installed before or know what it is called? they had it so high up I couldn't read the name of it off the display... it seems nice for a house that doesnt have a masonary lip to lay bricks on already

Brick vineer?

That was probably NovaBrik, that is hung on the studs in accordance with code approvals with a moisture barrier behind it, similar to vinyl or wood or fiber cement siding.

The load is not a problem with properly constructed frame wall and actually increases the shear resistance of the wall.

It is not cheap and do not let a mason install it because they are much more fussy and acurate than siders or amateur "carpenters".
