Breakfast Bar

I am trying to build a breakfast bar under my kitchen window. Its pretty basic but I have some questions.

What I have is a 6ft peice of counter top and 2 base cabinets. The cabinets are going to be at the front of the countertop, then the back of the countertop will be against the wall.

What is the best way to secure the countertop to the wall? I was thinking of mounting a board to the wall studs then sort of rest the countertop on that and screw it in from the bottom?

Anyone have any ideas?

Breakfast Bar

How about, using angle brackets (small ones) screwing them into several studs so the the top part is hidden behind the counter but gives you something to fix into underneath the counter, also the counter would be fixed to the base cabinets as usual. i take it the cabinets are also being secured to the wall?
