bond two pieces of polycarbonate


where can I buy 1oz of methylene chloride in phoenix az. want to bond two pieces of polycarbonate sunscreen together to repair hail damage.

other suggestions or methods eagerly sought. Thanks

bond two pieces of polycarbonate


IF my memory serves me correctly, you can use Methyl Ethyl Ketone, MEK, to do this also. MEK can be found at most big box stores in the paint/paint brush cleaner to do this. BUT--mind you, MEK will discolor polycarbonate's leaving a "frosty" finish where it gets on it. We used it to build guards on some equipment.
