Blowing rain hitting front door then leaking to basement

Hi everyone. Newbie here. When we get a heavy rainstorm from the south, and the rain blows into my front porch and hits the front door, the rain then ends up leaking down to my basement. There is a storm door, vinyl siding and concrete porch. There are no cracks in the cement. Is the water leaking between the siding and the concrete? And if so, how do I take care of this problem? See photos - hope they come through. Thank you!

It could very well be especially if the slab is poured up against the framing.

Removing the piece of siding that's sitting on the slab would answer a few questions.

If that is the problem that intersection needs to be flashed.

The siding shouldn't be sitting on the concrete like that.

Thank you kwikfishron. I really appreciate the advice. I will remove the bottom piece of siding and see what is underneath. Will see if about putting in flashing too.

The flashing is worthless if not done right and it may or may not be the issue.

Remove the siding and post a few more pictures.

Most likely the person or series of people who did the work around the front entrance felt they could get by with out having to work to hard on keaping it water tight becaouse of the large overhang. Sounds like they were wrong and Gregged up your entrace/basement. As the previous people mentioned you have to start taking it apart tell you see what isn't lapped in a way the promotes the water going where you want it to. I didn't need to get involved to reiterate that but to mention that I disagree that the siding shouldn't be installed tight to the concrete. I am not saying it needs to be but it isn't a problem that it is.
