Question

Best Portable Work Table??

I was wondering if anyone had some advise on portable work tables? I have been looking at a number of options i.e. Black & Decker Workmate, The Jawhorse, The Benchmark, and Trojan Table.

Best Portable Work Table??

I like saw horses and a piece of plywood or an old door---People keep giving me those 'folding work stations'----they are clumsy and to small----(that's me--I just say thanks to the free ones and the junk em'.)---Mike----

Best Portable Work Table??

The Jaw horse is to heavy and very limited uses.
I own two of the Black and Decker work mates but there the older ones with plywood tops and real metal frames. I love them.
But as the other poster mentioned it's hard to beat a couple of saw horses and a plywood top.

Best Portable Work Table??

i do the same thing as mike, two folding sawhorses and a sheet of plywood.

also another good option is the plastic folding tables sold at most big box stores.. they go on sale for about $40-50 and are light weight

Best Portable Work Table??

I ended up purchasing the Benchmark and it truly is full sized and portable enough to fit in the bed of my truck. I did have some issues with the table (knobs were small and weak) but when I reached out to Benchmark customer service they informed me that improved parts will be mailed free of charge. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and how they handled my feedback.
