Hello all, I was wondering the best way to attach vinyl trim to concrete? Is there a adhesive that will work good or is there a better fastening system? Thanks in advance.
Concrete gets dusty and moldy. Glue may separate in future. You can try using stainless finish screws but they may get stuck before sunk and will be impossible to adjust the trim with the fastener.
are you really trying to put vinyl trim on concrete ? is it poured or block or stucco?
On my old house it was stucco and i was able to attach by drilling and inserting plastic anchors. since it was stucco the walls wasnt straight so i had to add wood shim planks planed down to right thickness according the the guide string. and attached with concrete screws and glue.
if it just a block wall - i would just use tapcons and drill to right sized hole. once the whole thing is done you can just hose down the siding.
