Best choice for cedar caulking
I am about to install western red cedar clapboard on the front of my garage. There is a 24" overhang, this side is in 1/2 morning sun and away from the usual rain. The cedar will be eventually finished with either a clear natural stain or very slight color with UV protection.
The western red cedar org. recommends acrylic-latex, acrylic, acrylic-silicone, polyurethane, polysulfide or terpolymer rubber caulks or sealants.
Can anyone make a recommendation on any of the above for this application?
Check this site out you might find a color that will come pretty close to your siding GOOD LUCK BOB http://www.osisealants.com/Category....rpose-Sealants
Thanks for the link Bob. Some of these caulks say they are paintable and do you know if any are stainable?
