Best blade for circular saw to cut multiple layers.
I'm adding a beam and hangers to remove a load bearing wall.
I need to cut a path in my ceiling using my dust collecting circular saw to gain access. I'm hoping that someone has a suggestion for a wrecking blade.
I don't want to go at it with the sawzall because I need to live in the area that I'm working in and it tends to throw dust and grit everywhere.
The ceiling had been redone many years ago and now there are 4 layers that I need to cut through… newer plaster, metal lath, old plaster, and finally wooden lath.
What is best blade for this?
I was thinking of using a diamond coated tile blade but I’m worried the metal lath will dull it pretty quick.
TIA
