bearing wall question
what is proper way to move doorway that is built through bering wall do i bloke it up first ,do i need supports , does it need cut or can i knock it out im only moving it 15ft

Is this just something like a 36" passage door in a roof framed wall?
If so there's no need to support the ceiling. Leave the old header in place and just add a 2 X under it. Make sure to build a header and use jacks in the new opening. |
use the opening size that the door is in now as the template for the new opening size or figure the rough opening to be 1" bigger than the outside of the door jamb measurement.

really depends on what is above the wall.
Generally what joe has said is correct. Although there are times when there can be a point load above, or heavy load. |
