Default beam size&constrution 22x19 ceiling

hi need info i am attempting to remove an 16 foot load bearing partition wall inside a 22ftx19ft interior diameter room ceiling joists onlysupport drywall ceiling . joists run across 22ft width partition wall is 10ft from one wall(22ft width) and3ft in on each side (19ft width) joists have already been sistered up for strength (org joists old time full 2x6 . sistered with new2x6s) i have excellent structure at both end locations to support beam (foundation walls). do i need a parrallam style beam or can i bolt,screw&glue 3 or 4 2x10s or 2x12s together to span the19ft width . there is no roof load on the ceiling or above partition inside attic thanks for reading this

I've never seen a built up beam span that far, so I would not attempt it. You have to calculate the load to determine what size beam you need. If you're not comfortable with that, then you should hire an engineer to do it for you. Anyway, if you want to use a PSL, here are some instructions on how to size them properly http://www.ilevel.com/literature/COM-4000.pdf

To span 22' I had to go with 3x 16" LVL's - supporting room above & roof loads
You need to have the size engineered by a lumber yard possibly or an engineer
There is no guessing on a beam this big
