Bathroom speakers

I'm doing my bathroom, which will only have a tub, no shower, and I want to put speakers in while the walls were open. Any suggestions on brands? I don't need the fancy ones for showers. Thanks.

How big is the bathroom?
Where will the stereo be that will power them?
Do you want to be able to turn them off/on or adjust volume?

We bought an inexpensive stereo on clearance & installed that instead
Much easier to turn off/on & adjust volume
Person in the shower/bathroom can listen to what they want
We leave it on during parties
It looks like one piece, but the speakers can be seperated
It had a wall mount, CD player, equalizer all built in
Very slim - maybe 4" deep, 12" tall & has a remote

Good suggestion. I may try that. I think I'll have room for a system above the header of the door. So long as the remote can handle some moisture it'll be okay. Did you see the iPod dock/toilet tissue holder? Moisture resistant -- tempting, but I don't know how it'll look in my small very vintage bathroom.

Since you said there is a bathtub, I would suggest outdoor rated speakers. Continual exposure of ordinary paper cone or cloth suspension speakers to moisture can result in warping and possible rubbing of the voice coil against the magnet assembly and also the magnet assembly can rust with iron oxide clogging the voice coil channel i.e. ruining of the speakers.
