Basement Window finishing

3 Attachment(s)
I'm in the framing process for my basement and need some help on my windows. I've attached some photos to see the problem. I have about
1 1/4" around the window to work with. The window is sealed around in concrete...can I just put up 1/2" rigid insultation, and then 1/2" drywall (sides and top). I would put 1/2" rigid insulation and 1/2" wood down on the sill. If so, what is the best way to do this...could I just use adhevsive on the concrete/insulation/drywall? Do I use concrete screws on the sill? Half of the drywall will be screwed to the wood framing around the window. Is there any other options or suggestions?

Seem to be missing the expanding foam around some of the window frame.
How do you plan of finishing out the rest of the wall?
That would need to be done first before the jamb extentions go in.

The rest of the wall will be framed with the normal 2x4 process.

You need to finish that part first.
Just make sure to frame in the opening for the window even with the hole in your concrete.
I would never use a sheetrock return in a basement, to much or a chance of moisture damage.

I understand framing is the next process...but just say that I had this finished how would you add trim to the window
