Basement Waterproofing Coating

I am building a house with a walkout basement made from concrete blocks (all cells are filled with concrete). I have parged the exterior of all three walls that will be underground with Quikrete Quikwall surface bonding cement, which Quikrete says is a waterproof coating, on top of this I will place 15mil plastic. Do you think I need to add an additional waterproofing coating on the exterior of the Quikrete, If so are there any waterproofing coatings available for DIY use? (PS - there will be an exterior foundation drain to daylight).

Here are a couple of different ideas for the below grade portion of your basement walls:

Dimpled membrane:

Peel and stick:

IF quikcrete sez it & an apron/vest store sold it, you'll have done SOMETHING ' so wait for the pain  both of what's-'is-name's ( ben's ) links are good - we use 'em but NOT the peel/stick stuff,,, we prefer to spray polymer & rubber modified asphalt emulsion then protect w/dimpleboard.
