basement subfloor??

I starting to finish my basement, right now it is a 1300 square foot room with a furnace in the middle. I am planing two bedrooms for the kids, washroom and a large rec room with a gas fireplace. I live in southern Ontario with fairly cold winters should I install a subfloor. My basement doesn't have any water problems. Has anyone used the Dricore subfloor system it look like the perfect solution but cost $7.00 for one 2 foot square. Any help or advice would be a great help.
thanks

If your basement is dry I personally would favor a carpet over a nice thick closed cell carpet padding placed right on the concrete.

Be absolutely sure you have good egress windows in your kids bedrooms. There is nothing more important than that.

basement subfloor??

don't use Dricore... it is too expensive for what worth... there are exact same (if not better) product which cost 1/3.... use the outdoor leak prevention plastic sheet then put osb on top... same material as dricore basically.... there is a web site for that but I kind of forget and too lazy to search for you... I did mine that way and cost only $800 bucks for 1000 sq. ft. basement.

Actually, didn't realize the poster post the thread twice, so here is the link again:

use product in this site rather than Dricore and you save $$
