Basement Remodel Door Question

I am in the process of finishing my basement. I am going to be installing the doors next and I have a question about the one door that leads from the finished part to the unfinished section. Do I just use a normal interior door like the other ones and do I need to add weather stripping or anything along those lines? There is a heating vent in the unfinished section. Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Basement Remodel Door Question

Depends, is there a way to shut off the vent and not heat or cool the unfinished area?
Is there a return air vent in that unfinished part?
If there's no plans to finish the rest of the basement, and it's not going to be heated and cooled, then I would think it would be best to install an exterier door with a threshold.

Basement Remodel Door Question

The unfinished area will never be finished. However, there is a vent for heating and cooling.

Basement Remodel Door Question

with just one vent down there you probably want to put in an exterior door. The one vent probably pulls air from the return upstairs so therein lies the problem, also the one vent is not enough for the whole downstairs.
