basement leaks

My home is over 100 years old. The foundation is made of large rocks. What ever was used in between them, now when touched turns to dust. I'm sorry, my computer is touchy. I didn't get to finish. When it rains the water was dripping out of the rocks, now it runs. Is there any kind of spray or something I can use to stop the water. It has gotten so bad that the basement floor looks like it has spots where it looks like the water is trying to come up through the basement floor. live in ct

Not an unusual description of old mortar and rubble stone foundations. You need someone good at pointing stone.
