Basement ceiling

I'm getting ready to start the installation of my basement ceiling. Running crossways together are an I beam and 2 sections of ductwork that I need to frame around. Are there any tips or helpful advice available for someone with limited carpentry skills in doing this? Pictures make it look simple, but I'm just not sure. Thanks.

Yup, just box it out. Couple of things that may make it easier may be to have a framing nailer -- air or airless, or some DIY's feel screwing is easier. Help is nice and try to build as much as you can on the ground.
