Basement arch height

Hi,

I am creating an arch in my basement similar to the one in the attached photo. I live in Colorado. Anyone know the minimum height requirements for the top of the arch and the starting lower part of the arch?

Thank you

Basement arch height

really good question...

7' is code in most of the world for ceilings... 6'8" for door and I think cased openings... now you might want to have a min of 7' at 18" on both side of the center of your arch ... you will need to to the geometry. Just a guess... design so folks won't bump their heads...
