Band/Rim Joist - Water Damage...Repair?

As you can see from the picture there is a very small section of damaged Rim Joist. The chimney, which is behind it, had leaked from the flashing on the roof (wasnt properly flashed or cemented).
What do you guys recommend on this situation?

Also, some of the subfloor is rotten and damaged so I will be removing the old and patching the gaps with new OSB.

Can you get at it from the other side?

If not then once you have stopped the leak and dry it up put blocks between the joists and in each space beside this one. This will provide lateral support for the ends of the joist.

Also that last pics looks like you have a rafter landing on a double top plate with no stud below it? And the one beside it too?

based on the picture, i am going guess that op removed those studs...

as far as the rot goes, it really doesn't look too bad. i would apply wood preservatives in the area and install blockings as mae-ling stated (but i wonder why there is a scab 2x4 attached to your joist?)

Guessing is never professional. The two 2x4s werent even there under the joists ur looking at. Strike.

Address the problem at hand so you wont be wrong in assumptions...

The problem has been fixed from the start of the leak...which is the roof. I replaced the rotten osb after removing certain shingles. I will be redoing the flashing tomorrow lord willing.
