Ballpark cost for deck footings (OMG!)...

I'm building a deck (30" above grade) on flat ground, but wanted to sub the footing work (have someone dig the holes, put down tubes and pour the concrete). Plans/permit call for (11) 16" footings and (2) 22" footings, 30" below grade. Just got an estimate -- $3,850.

That works out to about $300 per footing. I was thinking maybe half of that. Guess I'll get the shovel out...

Does that seem reasonable?
