Back light Glass Tile


Any Ideas On How To back light Glass Tile? IE Does Translucent Thinset Exist?

Back light Glass Tile


This better be a high paying job---because you will need to remove the tiles from the backing in order to avoid seeing the mesh---I suggest you contact the makers of epoxy resins--that will work for you---epoxy resin will bond glass to glass--

you may need to grind the backs of the tiles so no voids remain when epoxied to the glass backer---grout could flow under the tiles if you don't--

Are you committed to this or just checking out the possibilities?

Hi oh'mike, A little of both to your question "Are you committed to this or just checking out the possibilities? I'm looking to see if there is any strong possibilities to this ideas and looking to budget it into the job.

Just google back lit tiles, lots of sites come up.
