TonyCamp67 Newbie   Join Date: Dec 2009 Posts: 1	Attic Stairs - Wood or Aluminum Hello, I am replacing a set of pull down attic stairs. My choices are wood with springs or aluminum with gas pistons. Any recommendations? Thanks

Some localities have mandated (or banned the wood) the aluminum (example- Horry county, SC). The aluminum is much sturdier.
