Attaching Deck to Brick Home

All-

I will be building an elevated deck sometime in the near future. My home is double wythe brick construction, so obviously no rim joists. I understand the concerns about connecting a deck to a brick veneer home, but I understand it is OK to connect it to a solid brick home by setting bolts in an epoxy, such as Hilti HIT HY20.

There's obviously lots of info available regarding attaching decks to stick framed homes, but I've found little related to my situation. Specifically I am trying to figure out...

1) What is the appropriate spacing for the bolts in this application?

2) How deep should the bolts be set into the wall?

3) Should I install spacers between the ledger and the brick?

Thanks!

Attaching Deck to Brick Home

My daughter had a decking built on her Victorian terraced house last year. It has 9 inch solid brick walls. The carpenters left a 10mm gap with stainless steel washers between the ledger and the wall.
