Attach drywall from behind?


There is some good discussion here. In the end I went with drywall adhesive, seems to have worked pretty well. Removed the random wood that was there before and installed new 2x6's. It's a lot more solid now.

Looks like you did a great job Hobbs. You never know what you'll find when you tear into a wall, and it is good that you addressed the problem.
