asphalt/concrete

Main question is will concrete bond watertight to existing asphalt ? We are building a water barrier around a building and in place is a small (not enough) asphalt barier, we need to built this up.

asphalt/concrete

waterproof barriers are modified asphalt cement,,, asphalt & concrete do not ' bond ' to each which's why that joint is sealed w/joint sealant.

if you could defing ' water barrier ' that would be a large aid in understanding the thread.
