Any way to Reduce Heat on Bricks?

so my bedroom faces east, and when the sun comes up it gets the bricks nice and toasty. this means that my bedroom from like 10-2 is 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the house

is there ANYWAY to reduce the heat coming in from the sun? stupid question i know, but just curious
