I've got old aluminum siding on a house - was hoping to get two more years out of it. Recently, however, I discovered a place where it's exposing exterior wall plywood. It's where the siding meets with an older wall that is cynder block.
Pic attached. (Wood grain to the right is just a fence post)
Any tips on sealing this up to keep it dry for 18 months to 2 years?
You could use some of the window and door sealing foam (minimal expanding) for the larger gaps, then caulk the rest with a good grade caulking. Check it periodically to make sure the caulk hasn't shrunk or pulled away.
