Default Acrylic Deck Cracks

I've picked up some work in a community where the builder used acrylic decking on the front porches to cover the concrete. As you know, in FL it will crack. Many of these folks have had them repaired with an elastomeric type caulk and than repainted. It just doesn't look good. How should these repairs be done? The homes are about 5 yrs old now so I'm hoping they are done settling.
