2x4 sliding door over 2x6 walls

Hi Guys,
I am in the process of adding 1 1/2" rigid foam insulation to my exterior walls, and replace all windows and doors.

One of the doors is a sliding door in the back yard, the rough opening is about 74X82, so I guess I can make it 72X80 by adding a couple of studs. My existing wall construction is 2X4, so adding 1.5" rigid foam will make the wall about 2x6.

I went to Home Depot and Rona, and none of them seem have 2x6 sliding patio doors in stock, and special ordering one will cost about 1500 dollars vs 570 for the 2x4 door.

I am wondering if I can buy a 2x4 sliding door and install it over the now "2x6" wall? I probably need to add some interior trims, to build it out to the interior wall surface.

What other options do I have?

Thanks!

Yup answered it himself. Make some jamb extensions, glue and pocket screw them to your existing jamb, paint / poly, done.
